To help you calculate the average monthly payment during construction use the following calculation on a desk-calculator: 

Multiply the approximate Building Cost + your lot loan balance as a combined amount times .6. Then multiply that number by .05 (the interest rate in decimal form). Then divide that by 12. The result is your average monthly payment during the construction of your home. It may well be lower. When using the mortgage calculator on my website please use 6% as the interest rate for loans under $417,000 and 6.625% for loans over $417,000.
