Timber frames are composed of traditional mortis and tennon joinery, held together with oak wooden pegs. Accent Truss has been in operation since 2004 and has become a nationally operating company in that time (including projects in Hawaii). In 2006, they incorporated Cad-Cam Software (a three dimensional design program) into their design process in order to communicate directly with their CNC (computer numerically controlled) cutting machines. Although the majority, around 90%, of the timber is cut on a CNC machine, some pieces still require a human touch and are hand embellished and cut for a true craftsman look. Accent Truss will work closely with your architect or designer to create trusses and timber that will flow perfectly with your home. Although they are a manufacturer and not a builder, they will work with your builder of choice and provide them with onsite advisory services to ensure the proper assembly of your timber and truss package.
